When reliability is needed
Choose Berti's efficiency
Working on embankments and ditches means dealing with:
-
Gradients and uneven terrain
-
Vegetation dense and hardy
-
Need for precision near to roads or crops
-
Stress structural ongoing
Not all mulchers are designed to withstand these conditions over time. With Berti equipment, you won’t have to worry about these issues.

ROTORS
& TOOL HOLDERS
The tube, produced by extrusion, requires no welding and is therefore seamless – a guarantee of strength and reliability. This manufacturing process provides enhanced resistance to accidental impacts.
Square recess tool holders – why is this better?
The square recess allows for a more precise and stable mechanical connection between the tool (hammer or knife) and the holder. This means:
- No play between parts, ensuring longer life of the holderbolt connection.
- Reduced risk of slippage or rotation of the bolt.
- Greater resistance to dynamic and torsional stresses.
Each Berti rotor is tested and balanced at high speeds to ensure top-quality performance.
CHASSIS
IN STRENX® STEEL
The internal structure of Berti mulchers is entirely made of Strenx® steel – a high-strength, low-weight material that ensures an excellent balance between robustness, elasticity, and structural precision.
Each chassis is designed for longterm durability. Using Strenx® allows for a lighter structure that is still resistant to torsional stresses, improving machine handling and reducing overall wear.
Berti’s craftsmanship and decades of design experience make the housings of their mulchers a benchmark for quality, reliability, and solidity – essential for operators working daily under challenging conditions and requiring consistent performance over time.
GEARBOX
internal or external
When choosing an embankment mulcher, one key factor is the position of the gearbox – internal or external to the machine body. This choice influences versatility, usage, and the types of tasks the mulcher is best suited for.
- With the internal gearbox, the drivetrain is integrated into the frame, ensuring a more compact design.
- With the external gearbox, the transmission is located outside the machine body, thus allowing for a greater lateral offset.
ANTISHOCK SYSTEM
INTELLIGENT PROTECTION FOR YOUR MULCHER
During operation, particularly on uneven ground or where hidden obstacles are present, mulchers are constantly subjected to impacts and stress. It is precisely in these situations that the anti-shock system comes into play. Its main function is to absorb accidental impacts that could compromise the integrity of the chassis, and it also helps to reduce the continuous stress that builds up on the chassis during use. This translates into fewer breakdowns, less maintenance and greater reliability over time.
X-FLOAT
PRECISION TECHNOLOGY AND ADAPTABILITY
The X-Float system is one of the most significant innovations in the bank mower range.
This technology, based on a double-chamber cylinder with a double piston rod, has been developed to ensure constant control of the machine and consistently smooth operation, even on the most challenging terrain, without requiring constant intervention from the operator.
LEVELLING ROLLER
BOLTED BELL ROLLER
The bolted bell roller is designed for optimum efficiency, durability, and ease of maintenance.
Thanks to its design, it is possible to increase load-bearing capacity, reduce the frequency of lubrication compared to standard rollers and, in the event of damage, replace individual components rather than the entire assembly.
