FORESTRY MULCHER WITH 360° SWINGING HAMMER ROTOR
ECF/MD is a retractable flail mower, designed for clearing uncultivated land, undergrowth and plant residues up to 15-18 cm in diameter. Available in working widths of 160, 180, 200 and 220 cm, it is suitable for tractors with power ratings between 90 and 160 HP.
The machine is equipped with a fixed three-point hitch, double STRENX and HARDOX body, rear bonnet with hydraulic opening and closing, adjustable skids and bolted counterweights, while the automatic belt tensioner ensures optimum transmission at all times.
The forestry rotor has a diameter of 440 mm and can be equipped with double-edged DF hammers, single-edged MF hammers or MWF hammers made of widia, a wear-resistant material that maximises cutting efficiency and durability. Available options include a mechanical or hydraulic deflector, front and rear conveyor blades and a centrifugal clutch to ensure a gradual start-up of the rotor and greater operational safety.
