ECF MD/SB
Hydraulic mulching head for excavators
ECF MD/SB is a hydraulic brush cutter designed for excavators with an operating weight between 15 and 20 tonnes, ideal for cutting grass, reeds, brambles, bushes and shrubs up to a diameter of 35 cm. It is available in sizes 120 and 140, offering flexibility depending on the needs of the site.
The machine features a double casing in Strenx and HARDOX, with lateral belt transmission and support skids, and a hydraulic piston motor controlled by a Berti Fluid Box, which guarantees efficiency and reliability even in the most demanding jobs.
The SMOOTHCUT forestry rotor is equipped with retractable BERTI forged and tempered hammers, available in the following versions: double cutting edge “DF”, single-edged “MF” or single-edged with wear-resistant coating “MWF” versions, complete with bolted counter-hammers to ensure uniform and safe shredding.
Upon request, the machine can be equipped with a customised mounting saddle, rotating turntable, jack for opening and closing the bonnet, ON/OFF or proportional solenoid valve with push-button panel, and motor upgrade, allowing for complete customisation according to operational specifications.
