EFX MD/SB
Hydraulic mulching head for excavators
EFX MD/SB is a hydraulic forestry mulcher designed for excavators with an operating weight between 15 and 20 tonnes, ideal for shredding grass, reeds, brambles, bushes and shrubs up to a diameter of 30 cm. It is available in sizes 120 and 140, offering versatility depending on the terrain and the work to be done.
The machine is built with a double casing in Strenx and HARDOX, supported by a lateral belt drive and support skids, while the hydraulic piston motor and Berti Fluid Box ensure adjustable power and maximum operating efficiency.
The SMOOTHCUT forestry rotor is equipped with fixed tools with “XF1” type widia inserts and bolted counter-hammers, ensuring precision and resistance even in the most demanding jobs.
Upon request, the machine can be customised with a tailor-made attachment saddle, jack for opening and closing the bonnet, ON/OFF or proportional solenoid valve with push-button panel and motor upgrade, offering optimal configurations for any operational requirement.
