EFX/SB
Hydraulic mulching head for excavators
EFX/SB is a hydraulic forestry mulcher designed for excavators with an operating weight between 20 and 35 tonnes, perfect for shredding grass, reeds, brambles, bushes and shrubs up to a diameter of 40 cm. It is available in sizes 120, 140 and 160, offering solutions to suit different operational requirements.
The machine is built with a double casing in Strenx and HARDOX, equipped with a lateral belt drive and support skids. The hydraulic piston motor, integrated with the Berti Fluid Box, guarantees reliable and constant power even in the most demanding conditions.
The SMOOTHCUT forestry rotor is equipped with fixed tools with “XF” type widia inserts, designed to ensure precise cuts and durability even on the most resistant materials.
On request, the brush cutter can be equipped with a customised mounting bracket, a jack for opening and closing the bonnet, and an ON/OFF or proportional solenoid valve with push-button control, thus offering a high level of customisation for intensive forestry operations.
