MECHANICAL WIRE WEEDER FOR PLANTS AND INTER-ROW
The ECOSPRINT/EASY is a frame-mounted mechanical wire weeder designed by Berti for under-row cleaning in vineyards and orchards. It is a simple, practical, and effective solution, designed to ensure precise under-row management, with careful action around the plant trunk and high operational reliability.
The machine is available in two versions, 90/140 and 140/240, offering a working width of approximately 25–30 cm, making it suitable for most planting configurations. The frame-mounted structure ensures stability and ease of installation, making the ECOSPRINT/EASY a versatile choice for different types of crops.
Standard equipment includes mechanical height and tilt adjustment, mechanical lateral shift, and a spring return, allowing the head to retract in a controlled manner when encountering obstacles or approaching the plant.
Optional features include hydraulic jacks for lateral shift, height, and tilt adjustment. For each selected hydraulic function, the tractor must be equipped with a free double-acting distributor to allow precise and immediate control of adjustments. A heat exchanger is also available to maintain oil temperature during prolonged operations, and the iron wheels can be replaced with rubber wheels, improving smoothness and adaptability to different soil conditions.
