The ECOLOGY/AD2 is a mechanical wire weeder developed by Berti for under-row cleaning in vineyards and orchards, providing a sustainable solution without the use of chemicals. Thanks to its wire technology, the machine works precisely around the plants, protecting the trunk and ensuring accurate cleaning even in hard-to-reach areas.

Compatible with Zeta, Eurostar, and B-FLEX systems, the ECOLOGY/AD2 stands out for its ease of use and operational versatility. Although designed for flat terrain, it is also effective in more challenging conditions, such as stony soils, maintaining high-quality performance at all times.

The machine is equipped with a protective housing with bark-saving rod, ensuring plant protection during operation.

Through the hydraulic transmission, it is possible to adjust height and tilt, as well as precisely control rotor speed. The hydraulic system includes quick couplings, a heat exchanger, and electrical control, offering reliability and convenience throughout operation.

For proper use, the tractor must be equipped with an open-centre distributor (40–60 L/min) and a free return to the tank.
