Gamma

Mulchers

for tractor from 30 to 250 hp

A range of in-line and offset mulchers designed for the professional cleaning of embankments, ditches, slopes, and marginal areas: robust and reliable machines engineered to manage grass, spontaneous vegetation, and branches with a cutting diameter of up to 10 cm. Each mulcher is designed to deliver maximum efficiency even on slopes and in hard-to-reach areas, ensuring stable, uniform, and precise work.

Compatible with tractors from 30 to 250 HP, these mulchers provide great versatility and consistent performance, both in routine ditch maintenance and in the most demanding embankment cleaning operations.

Our in-line and offset mulcher range is the ideal solution for those seeking a powerful, durable, and easy-to-maintain machine: a complete line designed to offer high productivity, long-lasting durability, and excellent results in managing sloped areas and land maintenance.

GEARBOX

INTERNAL OR EXTERNAL

hen choosing an embankment mulcher, one key factor is the position of the gearbox – internal or external to the machine body. This choice influences versatility, usage, and the types of tasks the mulcher is best suited for.

Internal gearbox

The transmission is integrated into the structure, providing a more compact profile. The mulcher shifts less to the right (compared to the external transmission model), and when used behind the tractor, it is positioned almost centrally.

Recommended for mixed tasks – ditches, embankments, road verges as well as vineyards and orchards. Typically preferred by agricultural businesses.

External gearbox

The transmission is positioned externally to the machine body, allowing for a greater lateral offset.

This enables working beyond the tractor’s track. Compared to the internal gearbox model, a mulcher with an external gearbox can shift further to the right, providing greater safety during work along ditches and slopes.

In rear configuration, it remains offset from the tractor’s axis. Particularly suitable for vegetation management and recommended for professional operators, public authorities, and reclamation consortia.

Antishock

ANTISHOCK SYSTEM

Intelligent protection for your mulcher

During operation – especially on uneven terrain or when hidden obstacles are present – mulchers are constantly subjected to shocks and stresses. This is precisely where the Antishock system comes into play – a solution designed to protect the machine’s structure and ensure longer service life.

Its primary function is to absorb accidental impacts that may compromise the integrity of the frame. But it’s not just about sudden shock protection. The Antishock system also helps reduce the continuous stress that builds up on the frame during regular use. The result is fewer breakdowns, less maintenance, and greater reliability over time. In short, it’s a quiet but essential ally for anyone seeking a robust, durable mulcher that’s ready for anything.

Xfloat

X-FLOAT

Precision technology and adaptability

The X-Float system is one of the most significant innovations in the embankment mulcher range.

At the heart of this technology is a double-chamber,

double-rod cylinder, developed to ensure continuous control of the machine and smooth operation even on the most challenging terrain.

The first chamber ensures precise positioning of the mulcher relative to the ground, keeping the machine stable and always ready to work at optimal performance.

The second chamber provides a floating function – it allows the mulcher to dynamically follow ground irregularities, adapting automatically without requiring constant adjustments from the operator.

As a result of this combination, the tractor’s distributor is no longer required to compensate for variations in the terrain. The outcome is a simpler, smoother, and faster workflow.

LEVELLING ROLLER

BOLTED BELL ROLLER

The bolted bell roller is designed for optimum efficiency, durability, and ease of maintenance.

Its fully detachable structure allows each component to be replaced individually, avoiding the need to replace the entire assembly in the event of damage.

Double roller bearings at the ends provide higher load resistance and long service life, even in the most demanding conditions. The internally shielded chamber reduces the frequency of greasing compared to standard rollers. The roller tube is precision-machined to house the bearing assembly in a perfectly protected seat, enhancing straightness and structural strength.

Greasing is performed at the factory – the vent valve is only for checking the chamber fill. The grease retains its properties for over 1,000 working hours, requiring only extraordinary maintenance.

TENSIONER

AUTOMATIC BELT TENSIONER

Embankment mulchers are equipped as standard* with an automatic belt tensioner.

This device eliminates the need for manual adjustments, as it automatically compensates for the natural elongation of the belts over time, ensuring consistent power transmission and reducing routine maintenance.

The automatic tensioner also simplifies belt replacement operations – belts can be removed easily by hand, without tools, making maintenance faster, safer, and more accurate.

Reliability, convenience, and uninterrupted operation – three tangible benefits that reflect Berti’s attention to construction details and the real needs of operators.
