EFX MD/SB A.V.T.
Hydraulic mulching head for excavators
EFX MD/SB A.V.T. is a hydraulic forestry mulcher designed for excavators with an operating weight between 15 and 20 tonnes, ideal for managing grass, reeds, brambles, bushes and shrubs up to a diameter of 30 cm. It is available in sizes 120 and 140, allowing it to adapt to different operational requirements.
The machine features a double casing in Strenx and HARDOX, with lateral belt transmission and support skids, while the automatic variable displacement hydraulic piston motor and Berti Fluid Box ensure consistent performance and gradual rotor start-up even under intense stress.
The SMOOTHCUT forestry rotor is equipped with fixed tools with “XF1” type widia inserts and bolted counter-hammers, ensuring strength and durability even in the most demanding jobs.
On request, the machine can be equipped with a customised mounting bracket, a jack for opening and closing the bonnet, an ON/OFF or proportional solenoid valve with push-button panel, and motor upgrade, offering customised configurations for any type of forestry work.
